Correlation between carbon emissions and energy structure –Reliability analysis of low carbon target

Ben HUA

Frontiers in Energy 2011, Volume 5, Issue 2,   Pages 214-220 doi: 10.1007/s11708-010-0133-7

Abstract: The influence of energy intensity on carbon intensity depends upon the fraction of energy mixes withhigh carbon emissions in the total energy mixes .Taking the long-term carbon reduction target in 2050 settled upon by the Copenhagen Agreement and theThe peak value of energy consumption will lag behind the peak value of carbon emissions; the world energyEstimates show that China’s mid-2020 and long-term targets of energy-saving and emission reduction announced

Enforcing the revised law on energy conservation and promoting the work of energy conservation

Fu Zhihuan

Strategic Study of CAE 2008, Volume 10, Issue 12,   Pages 13-16

Abstract:

In recent years, the energy consumption of China increases very fastand its utilizing efficiency is low, which is an issue standing out relatively, thus the prior law on energyconservation can not meet the requirement of the work on energy conservation nowadays. In order to promote the work on energy conservation in the whole society, the Standing Committee of National

Understanding high-emitting households in the UK through a cluster analysis

Xinfang WANG, Ming MENG

Frontiers in Energy 2019, Volume 13, Issue 4,   Pages 612-625 doi: 10.1007/s11708-019-0647-6

Abstract: In general, a small percentage of the population is responsible for a large amount of emissions. This paper focuses on high emitters and their CO emissions from energy use in UK homes. The results show that after equivalising both household emissions and income, the high emitters can befrom energy use at home.Policymakers should target each high-emitter cluster differently to reduce CO emissions from energy
